Here is a note from Coach Tom:
Our athletes ran very well and almost all of them improved in the second race, many by 30 to 60 seconds. Wow!
Remember that in Cross Country, the major motivations are improvement and personal records (PRs!). Those are what we are teaching your children so that they can enjoy the satisfaction of improvement in practices and races. If they have a bad day in practice or at a race, we want them to shake it off and forget about it. There are plenty more practices and races to look forward to.
